Peter Goliaš is a Director at the think-tank INEKO (Institute for Economic and Social Reforms), a non-governmental nonprofit organization based in Slovakia. He has almost 20 years of experience in the field of socio-economic research and advocacy. The areas of his professional interest include public finance, pensions, health care, education and labor markets as well as promotion of democracy, market economy and transparency in the public sphere. Since 2002, Peter has coordinated numerous INEKO projects aimed at monitoring and analyzing structural social and economic reform processes in Slovakia. As a Consultant to the Slovak Ministry of Labour he participated in the pension reform project funded by the World Bank. He worked also as a Consultant to the Slovak Ministers of Education and Finance. He is an author of numerous studies and articles on the topics above. He is a member of the Strategic Committee at the Business Alliance of Slovakia, Steering Committee at the Slovak Association of Economic Analysts and Steering Committee at the Free Enterprise & Democracy Network.
