Majdi is an experienced Associate Professor and PhD holder, specialized in Economics and Finance. Along with his teaching duties, he is the Executive Counsellor of The Arab Institute of Business Leaders (IACE). Throughout the years, Majdi also conducted and supervised many studies and research that were used as references in order to raise awareness on a governmental level by addressing the deficiencies of the economy, and by tackling sensitive issues such as private/public dialogue, economic reforms and governance. He also managed to make a great contribution to the higher education sector by conceiving a new master’s degree in NGO Management, a first in the MENA and Africa regions. His expertise is internationally recognized, as he works with global organizations and bodies such as CIPE, WEF, OECD, PNUD and The World Bank. Majdi manages many innovative projects that aim to positively impact the economy and the society by targeting different groups and trying to offer them equal opportunities and a better future. These projects include the integration of young people in the labor market and improving employment opportunities for women.
